Are independents forced to be different to stand out\u2014or is that exactly what voters are looking for in today\u2019s political climate?<\/p>\n

We\u2019ll also tackle the challenges of running in deep blue and deep red states like Illinois, where ballot access laws, funding hurdles, and media coverage can make it extremely difficult for non-major party candidates to gain traction. Is 2026 a turning point for independents and third parties, or will they continue to be labeled as \u201cspoilers\u201d?<\/p>\n
